Look at all the little tails sticking straight out.
Only milked once today, rather late this afternoon. Herbie took a fresh bale in for the cows, and they wouldn't leave it to come for milking. Fighting with two 1,000 lb cows in the ice and snow is not my thing.
Hand salted a lot of our driveway this evening. Can only do this when the poultry are in their house, otherwise they will eat the salt ! Don't want our herdshare owners slipping down the 1,000 ft driveway. I had a hard time in the Dually last night, had to engage the 4-wheel drive, and move a little off the pavement to get traction. The buggy struggled until I put it into 4-wheel drive, then slowly I climbed the driveway after collecting the mail this afternoon.
The puppies are large enough to escape the baby pool. I hear lots of noise, and find puppies wandering around the garage. Pick them up, and pop them back into the pool, and the warmth of their siblings. They were sleeping in the pool in the lounge today, and I had to stop Anni from constantly going and waking them up ! She goes to clean them, and when they see her, they want to drink and complain loudly when she doesn't oblige. They come to me when I call them, only Jack has a name, but they all seem to know "hello puppies". Anni also understands when I say "puppies" to her, as in "go to your puppies, Anni".
The fish water is clear again, no longer blue from the meds, but Sushi still looks unwell. He's lying on his side, and is huge, and his scales seem to still be sticking out. I'll wait another day or two, and then re-medicate if there's no improvement.
Rather frustrating morning with the new cell phone service provider. Landed up spelling S A R A N A C about 10 times, slowly, they didn't have Herbies phone listed, said it's change-over had been cancelled. Eventually sorted out after speaking to the supervisor, but took about an hour.
