DH helped me re-pack the freshly painted pantry cupboard. My canned goods together with the bought foods looks rather good and I'm pleased with how it turned out.
Went out and spent time with the cows. Frogz actually let me scratch her neck. And does she have lots and lots of VM (vegetable matter). She must itch like crazy. I know they use blowers on alpacas, but we don't have one. She is full of prickly burrs as well. Don't think she'll take kindly to be held by her feet and shaken. Was picking stuff off her. Elli probably has the same but she won't let me near. Star is not looking happy but as I was lying in the grass she came up and rested her head on my knee so I could scratch her face, chin and neck. Even Gabriel came close, but behind me. DH was sneaking up on the cows, catching by their tails and whooping. Caused a bit of a stir, but he had a lot of fun. Caught Worsie more than once.
He put the washing machine back together and swopped it back out with the old one. That one is also temperamental, but at least it is going. Maybe we can eke it out until my dad returns from his visit to SA in the Spring, and then get a replacement.
Made spicy Italian meatballs with tomato sauce pasta for lunch today. Turned out rather well. Added onions, mushrooms and Swiss chard from the garden with the bits of chicken meatballs I had made and frozen previously.
