Unfortunately, I have splattered blueberry everywhere - me, the kitchen floor, counters, stove top, microwave, coffee pot !
Need a Summer kitchen. Was just reading about them, then Jackie talked about them yesterday. Have a 4-plate gas stove, which isn't big enough to accommodate all the canning pots and pressure canners. Have one pot of syrup, two of blueberries, one with water and the jars for canning, which I will also use to process them, but have tomatoes, green beans and potatoes to do as well, which needs the pressure canner, a boiling water pot, tomato pot, potato pot. Making me potty ! And hot !
Beth just came by to pick up her milk from yesterday and pay the boarding for August (thank you Beth) and she is also interested in going berry picking. She knows the family from her home-school group and is pleased to support them, and I want to go again. They are doing their organic certification, nice.
Tina is going to come by today to help with Gracie. Holding thumbs that all goes well.
Drove her out to the pasture, opened the back and she was greeted by all our very curious cows. Just been out to see how she's doing, and she's being wooed by the 2 Jersey bulls, Boytjie and Doofus, one on either side, following her around. She's not grazing much, just trying to keep ahead of the boys.
I'll post photos soon.
