The geese are so funny. They are keeping such fierce guard over the mums and hatchlings, even Anni is giving them a wide berth. They hiss at me when I pass a window inside the house :) and standing at the kitchen sink makes them charge :).
Got a bit done yesterday. Partially weedy wacked the berry garden, untangled the wisteria from the broken tree limbs, hung the hammock, started fixing the chicken wire to the 1st herb protector, started a new loaf of ciabatta.
Some of the new chicks have realised I'm the giver of food and started following me around yesterday. I think it's too cute.
Chatted with an egg customer, Roger, and explained the significance of the egg sign. If it's out, the girls are laying well and there are eggs in the fridge. If it's not there, he can try call for me to save him a dozen as the girls aren't laying well and there's a shortage with a waitibng list.
Early Wednesday have to go into Grand Rapids to be photographed and finger-printed for the renewal of my green-card. Then I'll see if there's any part-time jobs available starting early Winter as from now until Autumn it's rather busy on the farm, but Winters are quiet and we could do with the extra money.
