Made Trudis' Apple Pie and Brendas' Cranberry Relish to take to Angie and Johns' today for Thanksgiving lunch. So went over to their house after I'd showered. Even put my hair down and slapped some stuff on my face to be presentable. Herbie was working, and didn't come over, he's not feeling well and went to bed shortly after I got home - didn't even pick at the food I'd brought back for him. Poor boy ! Said he felt cold between his shoulder blades while driving and is just feeling 'off'. Izzy wasn't feeling well either, so hope between the 2 of them, I don't come down with anything. Milking when not feeling well is pretty awful.
Teri came over tonight to pick up some milk. Like her shorter hairstyle, looks very chic. Was hoping to give the puppies their shots this afternoon, but need Herbies help to hold them while I inject. Maybe tomorrow.
The snow stuck around for a few days, but was all melted yesterday morning after the rain but as per the forecast, it may snow tonight again.
Sold the last boy puppy last night, so just 1 girl still needs to find a new home. They let me know this morning that they're naming him Oliver so I'm starting to call him that so he knows his name by the time they come fetch him. So we have Lisa, Remington, Winchester, Sheila and Oliver. Just one little unnamed girl, although they all come running when I call "puppies". They're gorgeous. Anni seems to discipline them in a certain order. I can't figure out what the puppy does wrong, but she growls at it, and pushes it's head down with her mouth over it's whole head until it cowers. Maybe she's just teaching them obedience, but if I call her away, she'll come to me, and as soon as I'm finished petting her or whatever, she'll go seek out the same puppy and continue where she left off. The garage is fairly stinky from them. Actually can't wait for them to be gone that I can clean up and pour a little Jik down. Rescued 2 onions from their bed today, outer skins all chewed off, silly puppies.
Haven't seen an egg for the past 2 days since I chased the chickens from the lower barn. Wonder where the 2 girls that were laying are hiding their eggs.
Well, let me set the perculator for Herbies' coffee in the morning, and then go wash my hair and pop into bed.
