Yesterday my day started catching up with a cousin I haven't seen for years, then when I went out to feed the beasties, diacovered the Spring boy lamb that I'd dewormed was dead. Bloated and stinky already, so must have died last night after I gave them their evening hay. Dragged him out and put him on the buggy and took him out to the skeleton spot. Put a bit of a squeeze on my time.
Came in and showered to get ready to go to Daron and Graces' wedding, then googled the addres and discovered I had left an hour to get there and the map said 1 ½. I'll not say anymore, but Noddy can hit 90 when needed. I was 8 minutes late.
Haven't been to a church wedding in years', think Alicia and Keiths' was the last one and that was before I married. The preacher man was going on about the Bibles' instruction for a wife to submit to her husband as he was the head of the house. That the husband was instructed to love his wife and treat her like God treats the church, but that the wife doesn't have to love her husband, only submit to him. And then later when the vows were done, the "love, honour and obey" for the bride and the "love, honour and cherish" part for the groom weren't there. Hmmm, must submit but don't have to obey. Thought about asking him about that at the reception. After wishing the couple well, I snagged a cupcake and left. The cupcake was like eating sawdust ! It looked pretty good but was horrid.
Salle hadn't called me back so I tried her again. VM. Oh well, if I took a chance and she wasn't there, I'd only lose an hour so I turned left on to M-57 and headed North.
Jack met me, so much like his dad, Fletch but his character seems more like Anni.
