Stacey and Adam gave us Levi, together with his water trough and some other bibs and bobs. He's 20-years old, but my thinking was that he will be useful in training Missy and Max. He backed out the trailer and I led him into the lower barn enclosure. Max ran up to greet him, there was whinnies all around, he checked out the water. I went to the other side where Missy was eating. Tipped more hay out for them, and watched the 2 boys come down, and the meeting of Missy and Levi. He seems to fit right in. So now need to find some saddles, cheap.
Wandas' girl-lamb is the cutest, littlest lamb I've seen in a long time. Still need to have the sheep tested for disease, then can deliver some to Daron. Get it done, woman !
It rained last night, so I'm planning on going out to try and re-plow the garden. Need to put the horse trailer into it's parked position, but am dreading lifting the ramp by myself. Think maybe I should go over to Mikes and collect another of our hay bales for the horses, especially if I can't count on having the truck available every day. My life is going to have to be a little more structured. Plus I offered to go fetch Herbies youngest from Clio for Fathers' Day ! 2 x 3-hour round trips, but then that was before the car stopped working.
