No no no no, she cried as she stamped her foot in her insulated muck boot ! There were little snow flakes floating around today when the wind wasn't howling. Started off raining and was 35 degrees this afternoon down from our high of 44. We have the radiant Eden heater in the bedroom and a dairy heater in the lounge by my feet to warm us in the house which is currently 56 degrees. Brrr. Waiting for the last company to come quote on Sunday for a replacement furnace. Looks like I might be able to trade ½ a beef in part payment if Erik and Antonio come in with the best deal. That will surely help us financially, and they'll get some great meat. Win / Win.
Didn't see any beasties in the pasture today, although I did hear them this morning. It was just too yucky to go out there and see them. Hopefully they're actually out there. I would think they're in a dip in the hayfield which will protect from the wind. Will bundle up tomorrow and go check on them.
Went out in Noddy to do some banking and a little food shopping. Was amazed to see empty shelves in WalMart where the halloween candy had been for the last month. Wanted to get more kitkats as the chocolate cupboard has an empty shelf, but, no way :)
Seen the cute family photo Nanette sent through to Herbie of their trick or treat outfits for tonight - all 4 as ninja turtles. He laughed and laughed. I'm not sure what ninja turtles are, but he was absolutely delighted !
