With the fence not shocking well, I walked around the 19 acres, checking and fixing fencing. Found a couple of spots where it was touching the wooden posts, lines buried in the snow, but think the biggie was where it was ensnared with the barbed wire, which had a section linked and was wrapped around a post and buried under ice.
Finished up with the milk carton seeds, taped them up with duct tape and put them outside on the metal table. Now the wait begins :)
There's still so much snow out there. When I started out, I called Anni to come with. No way ! She lay down and watched me tramp off. Even the cows didn't get up to see what I was doing. No buds on the trees yet either. Please, please could Spring arrive ?!? At least the sun was shining, but don't think the temperature rose above freezing. Herbie said that while I was gone, Anni broke up a fight between 2 ganders. Funny girl. He first thought she was attacking one and then realised she was separating them.
The heat on the house is back on. Don't know what was wrong but very thankful it's working again.
