He washed and polished the truck, and gave Noddy a bath too. He had the power washer set up, so I cleaned the herd-share crates, the pet carrier and the storage container where I had held the geese and ducks before they were sold. Also wanted to do the garage door as it was very dusty, until Herbie pointed out that it would re-dirty the clean truck, so I waited and did it later. Cut the lawn, including the new orchard and below the trees before the pasture. Levi has obviously been exposed to the grass the mower throws out as he came running and then ate everything that got through the fence. Not the other two, they were skittish and unsure.
Washed the top of the tunnel with the power washer as the social worker advised that the poultry poop was a no-no, and this morning there were 3 huge globs of fresh, black, stinky poop decorating the otherwise beautifully clean section if concrete. She wanted to know if we would clean everywhere, or at least around the house every day or 2. Well, don't think it's going to look like she expects.
Dollys' hoof seems to be feeling much better. I need to go get more Epsom salts before todays' milking. Just been down to give her more hay, she and Larry are comfortably laying in the lower barn. Think she'll happily live in the barn all Summer if I let her.
The 2nd cutting of hay we just put up is magnificent. Soft and green. Dolly loves it. Gave the sheep of the 2nd lot of the first cutting as the balance of the first cutting which is a little mouldy is under new hay. Maybe I can move the desk to access it.
Swept out part of the garage last night, and now keeping the door shut so that the chickens cannot get it. They shoost over to the dog food and gobble it up and poop all over the garage at every opportunity they get. Used to have the 2 girls who laid their eggs in the garage every day, but I've stopped that too.
The new roosters are crowing, so hopefully the girls will start laying shortly.
Well, my tea is finished, so let me run Noddy into town, so I can milk that cow.
