Dolly starts bawling for Larry in the morning. Whatever time I take my earplugs out, I can hear her. Yesterday she gave 3 1/2 gallons and I left over a gallon for Larry, this morning she wasn't as full, I took 1 1/2 gallons. Daisy May has settled to living in the lower barn enclosure, but she's not fond of grain ! I moved the one feeder from the milking stall down to the lower barn, and while Dolly is tied up in her stall, I put some grain out for Daisy May in my 'making friends' effort, but she leaves most of it, which Dolly vacuums up once I let her out of the milk parlour.
Although egg production is way down, I'm getting at least one duck egg every day. Not sure which duck is laying, but I find it on the concrete slab next to the small water trough inside the chicken yard.
