Had 2 guys come to quote on the new furnace, and they were interested in the farm so after they took photos of the sheep I took them out to the hayfield in the buggy - and discovered Daisy May had had her calf. A pretty little girl. Yippee, she's about 1 ½ months earlier than the vet advised ! Loaded her into the back of the buggy and sat in the back with her but although Daisy May started following us, she couldn't see her calf and veered off. Think the 2 strange guys scared her. So went out later and got them to the barn with my husbands help. Brought Dolly up as well, and will start Daisy May with milking tomorrow.
Rex gave me a good quote, now just waiting for Eriks'. I liked these guys, they suggest moving the furnace against the middle wall which will give enough space to fit the add-in wood burner next to the chimney. This will be cheaper as the plenium will be straight without too much additional ductwork, so definitely works for me :).
Chad, bought the washing machine that came with the house too. They borrowed the trolley and moved it out the basement and out to Rexs' truck and I made $50 :).
Have a lady from on of the FB groups I belong to interested in some beef, so all in all, November 2 has been a good day on the farm. Thank you, God :).
