Teri came to get eggs, bring me the pressure canner she found for $5 (thank you Teri) so we tried again the get Gracie to come up for milking. She'd follow for a little bit, eating grain from the bucket, but then veer off back to the back pasture. She needs to be milked, don't want to sit with mastitis, or worse, she dries up and I don't have the additional milk needed for when Dolly needs to be dried off end August 2013.
Sent a text to Tina asking her to come help if she wasn't doing anything. Here's holding thumbs.
Baked the beetroot last night after I'd gone to bed. Will peel and can them tonight. Don't need to use the pressure canner as a water bath works for the pickled beetroot, need to buy a small part for the canner first as well.
