Dollys' foot is much better, Herbie has seen her and Larry out in the lower barn enclosure, eating grass. Everytime I look in on her, she's inside either eating hay, or waiting for me to give her more. Larry runs up and down past the barn door when I'm milking.
Salle visited a little yesterday, but not to help shear the sheep. Premier 1 returned my shears, replaced some parts and sharpened the 3 blades, so she took them to go do some of her shearing.
The Drs office is making me an appointment with the orthopedic surgeon for my arm. We'll see.
The horses have been incorporated into the cow family. I went to give them treats, and Boytjie didn't like me doing it. Just need to get Dolly back into the pasture so he can cover her during her next heat, and then he's got to go !
The ducklings are virtually fully grown ducks already, and the 1st set of goslings are also all grown up. Happens so fast.
My dad is arriving Sunday or Monday :). Only staying for a week :(. Well, maybe next time it will be for longer. He's bringing a replacement washing machine, a replacement drum for the broken machine, a transmission for the Honda, all in the new van he's bringing up for us. I'm a very lucky girl ! He and Herbie hope to get the Honda running again. Then we'll go from having 1 running truck, to 4 cars ! Wow, more licensing and insurance bills !
